There are few highlights about this route: Bimmah Sinkhole is located six kilometers after Dibab Village, just 500 meters off the road on your right. Tiwi Beach makes a perfect stop for some snorkeling or relaxing .The End of the coastal road is marked by Oasis and ancient city of Qalhat, which is famous for its dry stone walls, the remains of ancient water cisterns and scattered headstones of cemetery. From here you progress into the mountains, where you will encounter some steep slopes and hair raising descents, you will eventually reach LNG plant. Head south for around 15 km to get into Sur. If you came 15 along the Muscat – Sur highway, you will pass Sur Bilad, a Suburb of Sur. This is where you can visit the very impressive Bilad Fort.
