  • Best time of life is after 50: Study

London:People over 50 lives a better life than people who are young and stressed, says a study.
Researchers found people above 50, are also benefited from a 'positivity effect', which means that they recalled fewer bad memories, had more emotional control and an ability to see things positively, reports express.co.uk. People who were considered to be entering into a passive state after 50 years, now pursue fulfilment in a more active and vigorous middle age.

Also the study showed that variables like having children or no job had no effect on age-related patterns of well being.

The research was carried out at Stony Brook University in New York.
